[lazarus] I am still having trouble linking lazarus

Man I'm confused. :-\

Shouldn't the above setup be telling it to search /usr/local/lib first
for any libraries?

If I use ppas.sh and link.res just as they are built by the make it
doesn't work. When I go into ppas.sh and add

  -L/usr/local/lib

to the ld line then it links OK. Can somebody else see something I'm
missing?   :-\
