I have the following:

cvspserver stream tcp nowait root /usr/bin/cvs cvs
--allow-root=/usr/local/CVS
                                           ^^^^^^^^^ repeats !!
with

cvspserver 2401/tcp # CVS server

in the /ect/services files.

Michael.

problem?

no, this should be ok. The server doesn't need the CVSROOT.

Michael.
