Do you suppose it could be from this?  You probably already saw this email
on the FPC list, but just in case you didn't, this could be the cause.

Another thing i'd like to say, did you see The Rune by Terror Opera? It's
a 64k intro written by some czech coders, and released at Demobit2000
party.
It won the competition. It's written in FPC, and this is stated in the
readme too! I think FPC is not really for small things like 64k intros,
but they could do the job, so it shows the flexibility of the compiler.
Great job! (Req. DOS, ~400mhz CPU, and SB for sound)
