[lazarus] newbie question (GLIB compile error)

Make sure the development packages are installed. What it's looking for
is the libglib.so file. You may have libglib.x.x.so.x files but it's
really looking for the libglib.so file. These are normally installed
when installing the development GTK packages.

When I try to compile lazarus from cvs I got always the same error:

libglib 1.2 and 2.0 and all the necessary headers _are_ installed on the
system (Mandrake (upgraded) 9.1)
what can I do?

TIA
