thanks for your reply Mattias, I know the way of setting the tooltips, but in my case this does nothing, that's the reason for my mail. Also after a restart of lazarus there are no tooltips, -but now everything is ok for me. (rebuild of .lazarus-dir) Regards, Jens During.
