[Lazarus] 64bit support in Lazarus and FPC

I've been working with Lazarus (of the trunk) for about 10 months now on 
my  Ubuntu 9.04 64-bit edition with no problems so far.

I tried to follow the FPC cross-compile guide (found here: 
http://wiki.freepascal.org/Cross_compiling) but failed to get 64 to 32 
bit cross-compile working. But i think that's more down to my lack of 
experience with fpc and crosscompilation.
