I cant' help you about QT lazarus version but I can tell you that Kde 4.2 is
very nice but, sometimes, annoying imho. When I write code I really
appreciate more Gnome which is, for me, more practical. Further, with all
the package kde can install on your machine I would not worry about gtk
packages ;). Anyway, I don't ever have problems about distro version because
I run Arch Linux, so I'm always ... bleeding edge ;).
