And you really thing it wasn't mentioned before??  Maybe you should
start reading the mailing lists in more detail before getting your
knickers in a twist. This fixes branch issue was report just after it
was caused. Since then, it was reported by myself and many others -
just nothing came from those reports. Hence this message thread. Also
patches (available fixes that simply need to be applied) were lying in
Mantis not being attended to for weeks or months. Hence this message
thread.

So again, NO I wasn't simply complaining about nothing. I wasn't
advising a new workflow, I wasn't advising a new repository system, I
wasn't advising a new widgetset.  I was concerned about know issues or
available patches not being address. What more can we do than submit
bug reports or supply patches to Mantis. It's up to you guys with
write access to the repository to do the rest!!
