- Have a look here: download the latest gnu debugger from the link

- You also must update to the latest Lazarus snapshot. Older versions of 
Lazarus do not work with the 64 bit debugger.

- As for fpc, I know t was tested for fpc from svn trunk. But it may 
work with fpc 2.4.2 too (tests are pending
