Not tested in Lazarus, but RichView is a great RTF component for Delphi,
take a look at this migrated package:
http://wiki.lazarus.freepascal.org/RichView
P.S: please, give us your feedback, in a near future project I'll have
to migrate a Delphi app with this component.
