Then I'd suggest that you wait for the Unicode version of FPC/Lazarus, 
where all such problems have gone away. In the meantime you can do 
something less fruitless than pointing to well known problems, which 
never will solve themselves. Or spend the time to look for a tool that 
better fits your needs, coming with useful documentation...
