[Lazarus] Lazarus + Fedora 17 + anchordocking = crash?

Stop the IDE.
Delete the file ~/.lazarus/anchordocklayout.xml
Start the IDE.
This will load the defaults.

On some systems resizing the main windows can crash. It is already reported.
