I generated FPC 2.6.2 RTL and FCL docs about a week ago, using the fpdoc
from trunk. It worked fine here. Just did the usual:

  make rtl.chk fcl.chk HTMLFMT=ipf FPCSRCDIR=/path/to/fpc

Yes the HTMLFMT option is a bit weird, but my Makefiles skills are
limited, and it was easier to tweak (years ago) the build process of
HTML output.

I would much prefer fpdoc project files, even for RTL and FCL. They work
really well for fpGUI docs.

The IPF output has slightly more linking and different look to the Latex
output - even though the IPF output is based on the Linear writer. I
don't want the look of CHM though (standard HTML converted to CHM
doesn't work) - I find that a bit over crowded, and lots of the links
have no meaning in CHM (though it suits HTML with popup windows). The
Latex output is very neat, and I wanted to keep that style with IPF
(which I consider a type of eBook).

Curious, when last did you look at DocView and say rtl.inf? I just
uploaded new binaries of both onto SourceForge.
