FPC and Lazarus are 2 different projects. Please make such requests in
FPC's lists if you must.

Repeating the same whining again and again about Lazarus Unicode
choice does not help anybody.
The wiki pages are not SO bad. You could learn this thing if you wanted.
Besides, you have alternatives. Namely:
1. Use -dDisableUTF8RTL.
2. Continue using FPC 2.6.4. The plan is to keep latest lazarus 1.6
and trunk compatible with it. Then you still get the nice new IDE
features when using FPC 2.6.4.
