First, do you people see this mail from Balázs Székely (GetMem) :
  https://www.mail-archive.com/lazarus@lists.lazarus.freepascal.org/msg47738.html
also in your mail client?
I don't. I use the gmail web client.

A new IDE Coolbar has been committed to Lazarus trunk. Please test and comment.

Some notes :

Configuration window for the individual Toolbars is copied and
modified from the EditorToolbar package.
Later EditorToolbar should share the same window and its configuration
should be in the global options window just like other configurations
are.
EditorToolbar will be integrated into Lazarus code (no more package).

There is a bug in the Toolbar configuration window when the IDE is
built for LCL-QT.
It shows an empty "Toolbar Items" box. EditorToolbar has the same
problem which means this bug will go to Lazarus 1.4 (unless somebody
fixes it really quickly).

The long time plan is to implement IDE layout profiles or
"speedsetting" like Delphi has.
Could somebody please send a screenshot of the GUI in Delphi that is
used to configure it.
I have now only Delphi 2007 which does not have that feature.
We are not planning to imitate the Delphi's GUI as is, but to get
influence and ideas.

Regards
Juha
