[Lazarus] Error when rebuilding the IDE in Lazarus 1.6.4, AMD64

$ sudo ldconfig -v |grep libc
..
         libc.so.6 -> libc-2.19.so

ar, as and ld all at 2.25.

$ uname -a
Linux pye-dev-04 3.16.0-4-amd64 #1 SMP Debian 3.16.39-1 (2016-12-30) 
x86_64 GNU/Linux

That should be an ablutions-standard Debian "Jessie". In the interest of 
full disclosure it's had deb-multimedia enabled to install something 
like Flash at some point, but apart from that I'd expect no surprises.
