<p style="margin: 0px;">I simply installed an ubuntu 32 bit in a virtual box. Gave it 2GB mem, 100GB dynamic growing disk. The rest default.</p>

<p style="margin: 0px;">The I installed lazarus, which installed everything needed.</p>
<p style="margin: 0px;">Then I downloaded fpc and laz svn. This takes most of the time.</p>
<p style="margin: 0px;">Then I compiled them. Compiling takes a few minutes. </p>
<p style="margin: 0px;">Building debs is a bit faster than on the host system, because virtualbox apparently uses a very lazy write. </p>
