<p dir="ltr">I'd like to recommend you to STRIP and UPX executables under Windows.</p>
<p dir="ltr">Initial executables size:<br>
lazarus.exe 170859359 bytes (*)<br>
lazbuild.exe 52797635 bytes<br>
startlazarus.exe 15897492 bytes</p>
<p dir="ltr">after STRIP and UPX:<br>
lazarus.exe 4093952 bytes (*)<br>
lazbuild.exe 1653760 bytes<br>
startlazarus.exe 1653760 bytes</p>
<p dir="ltr">executables size is reduced to:<br>
lazarus.exe 2% of the original size<br>
lazbuild.exe 3% of the original size<br>
startlazarus.exe 10% of the original size</p>
<p dir="ltr">...and Lazarus (*) starts as a real cheetah! :)</p>
