</span>No idea, but may I suggest you rather download the *.tar file instead.<br>
It is a console based installer created by the FPC team. I've used it<br>
for years on Linux and FreeBSD, and never had any problems. I can also<br>
install it to any directory (I normally choose $HOME/devel/fpc/),<br>
instead if /usr/bin/ or /usr/local/bin/.<br>
