Of course you are right, but AFAIK, there is no documentation regarding 
TTimer on that behalf.

At best there would be multiple Timer class variants or a property in 
TTimer defining how it should work. (But in fact this is not really a 
"CustomDrawn" issue but a more general question. _Here_ I just wanted to 
point what cases should be tested.
