Well, for me it is fine either way, since you are implementing you can
do it in any way you prefer. I was just pointing out that if you write
software which depends on a given precision for TTimer it will fail
when you change your widgetset and that in some widgetsets it will be
impossible to make it precise. So if you want a solution that works
regardless of the widgetset you need to do it differently.
