Well the netiquette (afaik) does not say if I should use ansi, utf8,
utf16 ... That is because when it was written (nearly 20 years ago)
those things weren't there (or no one bothered).
So I tried utf16 big Endian. Only my mailer did set the encoding, yet
made the content utf18. Arghhh
It is just there are many good thinks in the netiquette, but equally
there are things in there which in my opinion do no longer make sense
today: For example html mail. Back then the majority of readers could
not deal with it, and it did cost bandwidth. Today only a very small
minority of readers has an issue, and bandwidth is not an issue either
(besides utf32 encoded latin text quickly takes more space than a few
html tags).
