[lazarus] Editor crashing when adding text

I did the same thing.  What version of GTK are you on?  I think I'm running 1.2.1 yet

I just built a valid string from setting the font in Gedit. This way I
knew it was a font I had and a valid font string. It still cored. So it
doesn't have anything to do with the font being missing.
