[lazarus] published property error

What date is the compiler from?  You probably need to compile a newer version on the compiler.  

do a cvs co for BASE COMPILER RTL FCL GTK, copy the base files into the FPC directory, go into the compiler directory and do a make cycle.  copy this ppc386 to whereever you are running it from now.  Then try to re-compile.

I downloaded sources from ftp.freepascal.org/pub/fpc/source and try to make
lcl it said me:
Error: The class can't have a published section, use the {$M+} switch.
$M+ is written in the code, already.  So what is the problem?  The version
of the compiler I use is, 0.99.13.
