[lazarus] getting started

go to FPC's web page.  We are using the same CVS as they are.

Type CVS to see if it's installed.  

If it is, go to their site and look at the directions for setting up CVS.  Then once set up and logged in type CVS -z3 co lazarus

Well i'm a bit different then your normal install ...
I'm running Slackware 4.0
2.2.10 kernel
FPC 0.99.12 <-- installed and working

how do I get CVS on my system to do the download of the project?
