[lazarus] Lazarus' objectives

All,

I've just downloaded and compiled the latest version of Lazarus. No hassles
whatsoever. Great stuff!

I really anxious to see how it will turn out.

Meanwhile I have some questions perhaps you can answer.

1) What are project Lazarus' objectives?
2) How portable will code be between Windows32 and Linux?
3) Are there any plans of creating a UNIX Solaris version of Lazarus?
