Actually, that function doesn't exist. There is a gdk_window_set_background and a gdk_gc_set_foreground.
I've tried both. When I get the GC from a window and change it, do I have to set the gc back to the window? See,when I change the foreground or background, it does nothing......

something to that effect. the definition id in gdkmain.pp

I HATE how GTK handles colors.....
OK, I simply don't understand it, that's why I hate it.
If I use gdk_draw_rectangle() how do I change the color of the rectangle?
If you know the answer, please include a little code.

Hey, guess what I got the CANVAS to work by writing DIRECTLY to the
gdkwindow.....
I will have further details after I get done celebrating!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
