[lazarus] unhandled exception error.

I'm having some wierd behavior (other than my normal behavior).

In the editor if I load a file it crashes. I've been putting writeln's in the file to see where I am when it crashes. Finally I added a writeln and ran lazarus and it loaded the file! I didn't do ANYTHING other than adding the writeln. I commented that writeln out and it crashes again. I uncommented it and it works.

The only difference I see in in it's speed. By doing the writeln's it slows the program down considerably. Could that somehow be fixing it? The "speed" at which it's working? I thought perhaps that I was doing the gtk_text_insert too quickly, or something else that was causing it to crash becasue everytime I uncomment that writeln, thereofre slowing it down, it works again.

Thoughts?

Shane

I will tell you, but I'm in the work now
(updating cvs and downloading things)
btw, Alex Roberts (the author of gEdit) told me he will make a new rpm
(exclusively for lazarus :)
