	Thanks, Michael, that explained a lot. I have been
	trying to figure out how the LCL/GTK system works
	and you told it in just one sentence.

	Have you or has anybody yet found out why the GTK
	drawing routines make the X swell to such an extent
	that it finally crashes the system? (I sent a simple
	example a couple of weeks ago).
