[lazarus] FPC IDE with Lazarus illegal?

Sebastian G. and I were discussing copyright issues, and we 
(actually more me) came to the conclusion that building an IDE with 
lazarus and FPC is not legal.

This because lazarus contains mwedit which is not GPL compatible.
(according to the FSF page)

To fix this check all other packages you use, and try to persuade the 
author in changing the license in something GPL compatible (and I 
know, that is not much)
