Are there Applications on Linux that currently have highlighting capabilities ? If so is there a visible impact on speed ? If there is none I am sure there is a way to preload/cache the required font and use it. As to a previous question I had : Does Lazarus under Windows display the same problem with the highlighting in mwCustomEdit ? Alex
