Some more changes:

Removed some old ifdef stuf from mwEdit

Added CreateCaret. 
  Now most Caret funcs are implemented, now only for 
  APIWindowWidget (= controls derived from TWinControl). 
  For other controls the code has to be added. 
  APIWindowWidget_HideCaret doesn't do anything yet.
  
  One can check CreatCaret by pressing insert. 
  (For one reason I don't know, the editor doesn't get
   a LM_Focus message so CreatCaret isn't called initially)
