[lazarus] how to...

I have just downloaded Lazarus (and am working on a translation of a
homepage to Serbian) and the latest FPC from CVS... I managed to compile the
source but whenever I start it the program just exits with a message that a
font was not found or something like that (TGTKObject)... I'm using Gentus
Linux (Red Hat 6.1 with a few add-ons) and have XFSTT package installed...
What am I doing wrong???
