I have to correct myself: Actually, the both values shown in GDB for
_vptr are _not_ the size and its complement field. To get this fields,
use the command "x/4 0x12345678" where 0x12345678 is the first of the
two _vptr values.

BTW, the problem disappeared, but I don't know why?
