That's a point I realized a few days ago. For example the menu in the
Comboboxexample will not appear. It seems that the menu is somehow
influenced by the comboboxes (I played around a little bit but did'nt find
the reason.)

Form my point of view it's a good thing to have such an example. You can
send it to the list if you want it to be controlled by the cvs system and
I'll check it in.

One thing about your bitbtn-example: Did you ever try to load a custom
pixmap?
