[lazarus] Install Lazarus : where is unit process ?

Hi all,

   i am new to Lazarus and FPC (not to inprise delphi)
   and i am not able to get lazarus installed

  i downloaded  :
	fpc-0.99.14-1.i386.rpm*
	fpc-docs-0.99.14-1.i386.rpm*
	lazarus.zip* (dowloaded 3 jun 2000)	 
   i installed fpc using rpm and it works 
  (i compiled and ran the hello program)
    i unzipped  lazarus and ran make 
   there i got an error that it couldn't find unit "process"
   (it is used in compiler.pp)
  
   i can not find this unit, can somebody please help me ???

   thanks in advance, i am looking forward in using something
   like delphi in linux (Mandrake 7.0 with GTK+ 1.2.6-6mdk)
