[lazarus] how to set lazarus to work on RedHat 7.0

i have the last lazarus.zip from ftp
and i try to build with the form empty 
(with no controls on it )
but it says in the compiler messages (form )
:can't find unit CONTROLS
maybe i have to write in the ppc386.cfg 
something ??
i tried to put in fpcsource :/root/laz_last/lazarus but nothing
because if i build from the comand line with make the examples is working 
but i want to do the design and the building from inside the ide
