This is an email that I received form Christophe. I have built the demo
he sent and it worked very well and look real nice. I will look over the
code to see what he has done but it will probably be something we want
to add to the LCL. I'll commit it and the example once I get a chance to
check it over.

My name is Christophe ESPERN and I'm an OP developper from France. I'm
using FPC and LCL since 6 months and first I want to thank you and the
team for the job you've made.
 
I've done a treeview class. It is not exactly like the Delphi one but
it's working well and there's only some slight differences for the user. 
 
If you want you could add it to Lazarus  when it will be finished, maybe
with the name TSimpleTreeview or something like that.
 
You will find enclosed a tar.gz whith the class and a demo.  Keep in
mind that 've just start and I have a lot of things to add. 
 
Tell me if you are interested with it, I will send you the final release
(in a few weeks).
