[lazarus] GNOME

Hi
Yesterday I have tested Lazarus under Gnome (with Sawmill) and there was 
no freezing. I have changed nothing in my system, so I don't understand 
why it doesn't lock now. Looks like someone changed the causing thing in 
the LCL?

I have a question:
Under Gnome and Sawmill my Delete-Key is working like the Backspace-Key, 
but I don't want this. How can I change the behaviour of the Delete-Key 
to act like a Delete-Key??
