Last march I was sent some TreeView code by an individual. It looked
pretty good. I guess it got lost in the mix and was never placed into
CVS.

I have placed the file he sent on the ftp site.

  ftp://ftp.lazarus.freepascal.org/lazarus/tree.tar.gz

This will probably do what you want or be a very good start.
