Hello!
You might be interested in potentially new component - see my multiline
text editor unit. It is too alpha now, but it looks promising. It
supports font changing for separate letters, image inserting, simple
editing, clipboard usage (course, with rich format). It is written for
kylix2OE, but I can see no principal problems in using it in lazarus
except GPL2 (not LGPL) license.
