[lazarus] TPanel implementation?

I too thought we had, at one time, an implementation of TPanel yet it currently does not exist in the LCL.  Feel free to implement it.

Hello all,

I looked for the TPanel implementation, but it is nowhere to be found.

On Lazarus status page, it says that TPanel is finished and tested.
In sources, there is no TPanel and any reference to it in Lazarus is 
commented out.

What's the deal?
Should I start implementing that from scratch?
