I don't know, several programs which cause a segmentation fault on other 
ppc machines
freeze (no ping, no keyboard, no kernel panic, it simply freezes)
my linux/ppc. It happens with the 2.2.20 kernel and all flavors which I 
tried of
2.4.18 and 2.4.19. Now I know why journaling file systems are needed :)
