[lazarus] Strange compiler error ?

Hi,

I may have done something wrong here....

Just did a cvs update -dP;make clean all and ran lazarus. Tried to
compile my project and got :-

TOutputFilter: "Error: invalid compiler: file "" does not exist"
TOutputFilter: "Hint: you can set the compiler path in
Environment->Environment options->Files->Compiler Path"

However, the path suggested is in fact set to "/usr/bin/ppc386" and
"which ppc386" on the command line confirms that the path is
correct....But I still get the error.

What have I missed ?
