[lazarus] Need your thoughts on Caret

Exactly what I expected! The caret *seems* to work, ie. it appears (but 
does not respond to keypresses). Anyway, when you remove focus, ie. 
ALT-TAB, then back, the caret is gone, and won't reappear.

Have I explained the problem clearly enough?
