Pfff..... eehh...

what if you try to compile tor app manually with:

 fpc -Rintel -S2cgi -CD -Ch8000000 -OG1P1 -Tlinux -gl -XD -vewnhi -l \
     -FuYour_LazarusDir_Here/lcl/units \
     -FuYour_LazarusDir_Here/lcl/units/gtk your_project.lpr

and if this also doesn't work, what is the output of 

 fpc -vut -FuYour_LazarusDir_Here/lcl/units \
     -FuYour_LazarusDir_Here/lcl/units/gtk your_project.lpr

The last one gives a very detailed output about searchpaths and so.
