[lazarus] Wrong list, but FPC sources corrupt?

I was in the process of upgrading to FPC 1.0.10, the last step of which 
after installing the packages was to download the source file from:
ftp://ftp.freepascal.org/fpc/dist/source-1.0.10/fpc-1.0.10-src.tar.gz

When untar'ing this file I get:

gzip: stdin: decompression OK, trailing garbage ignored
tar: Child returned status 2
tar: Error exit delayed from previous errors
