[lazarus] Help with htmllite

Hi! I'm trying to compile the HtmlLite component included with Lazarus, but 
I'm having some troubles. I run make in HtmlLite component directory but 
doesn't find the standard include files and I have to copy them into lcl/. 
Later it continues compiling, but gives the following common error:

Compiling htmllite.pas
htmllite.pas(17,50) Fatal: Can't find unit MESSAGES
make: *** [htmllite.ppu] Error 1

Is the makefile correct? should I do any modifications?

I will be very pleased if anyone could help me with this, I think that I'm 
doing something wrong.
