Basically lazarus is nearer to Delphi than to Kylix. For example, most LCL
(Lazarus Class Library) units have the same names as the VCL counterparts.
The LCL under Linux currently only runs on gtk, while Kylix uses qt. Also
lazarus still lacks a package system. I will implement it after the online
help.
