Both 1.0.7 and 1.0.8 wil work. Current 1.1 does not work. You can try a
later version of 1.1. For example the one provided on the website.

The daily snapshot or even better the cvs version of today is more stable
and advanced than the rpms/debs in the download section. The rpms/debs will
be updated when 1.0.8 is released.

Good question. The 1.0.8 is now releasing one month. I hope it will not take
another one.

There is a basic docs/INSTALL text. It should explain a few things. Please
help to improve it.
